The Free Virus Removal Tools listed below are not a substitute for full Anti-Virus or
Anti-Spyware protection.  The Free Virus Scan and Removal Software should be used on an
Infected Computer or one that you suspect is infected with a virus, spyware, or other malware.  

Chances are if you've found this page it's because you have a computer virus and either weren't
running an Anti-Virus product or were using one that was out of date.  Let's not dwell on how your
computer got infected but rather spend our time on determining what programs are available to help
you fix it and prevent it from becoming infected again.

If you don't know where to start I suggest trying Vipre AntiVirus and AntiSpyware
You can try Vipre for Free for 30 Days.  If it helps you to remove the Virus and Spyware on your
computer then I'd recommend buying it to help keep your system protected from future infections.  

After using Vipre I would also use the Free version of either Malwarebytes or
SUPERAntiSpyware to perform a scan for Malware.  I regularly use SUPERAntiSpyware and
Malwarebytes to perform on demand scans on my PC.

You can use the Free Virus Scan programs as an extra security measure to do on demand scans
after you have installed the programs from The Free Anti-Virus page.  After you have cleaned your
PC Infection please take some time to review this page as it has the Anti-Virus Software and Update
Programs you need to Protect Your Computer For Free from being attacked by Viruses, Trojan
Horses, Spyware, Adware, Malware, and Phishing Attacks.  

If you have a specific suspicious file that you want analyzed then I suggest using Virustotal which is
a Free online scanner using multiple Anti-Virus engines.

When All Else Fails Try Using HijackThis
If after running some of the Free Virus Removal Tools you still have a problem then it is time
to use HijackThis  Once you have run HijackThis you'll need to post the log it created to a
forum where it will be reviewed and suggestions given for cleaning the PC Infection.
